Psyon is an outpatient psychiatry practice offering psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management by secure video. We see patients located in Colorado, Texas and Florida.
In Texas and Florida, care is self-pay only, and we do not prescribe controlled substances.

Paying for care
In Colorado, we are in network with Aetna and UnitedHealthcare commercial plans, and are adding more plans in the coming months. Call us to check your plan before your first visit. We also accept self-pay: rates are available on request, and self-pay patients receive a written good-faith estimate before their first visit.

Do I need a referral?
No referral is required. Call or email us to schedule.
How are visits billed?
In Colorado, we bill Aetna and UnitedHealthcare commercial plans directly. Self-pay patients receive a written good-faith estimate before their first visit. If your plan is out of network, we can give you a receipt with the details your insurer needs to reimburse you.
Are visits by video?
Yes. Visits are by secure video. You need to be located in Colorado, Texas or Florida at the time of each visit.
Policies
Cancellations and missed appointments
Please give at least 48 business hours' notice to cancel or reschedule — for a Monday visit, by the same time on the Thursday before. If you miss an appointment, join more than 10 minutes late, or cancel with less notice than that, you will be charged the full fee for that visit type at our self-pay rate. Your first missed visit in any 12 months is not charged. A visit booked less than 48 business hours ahead can be cancelled free within an hour of booking, and you are never charged when we cancel. This fee is billed to you directly and cannot be billed to insurance. We keep a card on file to cover it.
Refills
Request refills through the patient site, before you run out; your clinician replies within three business days. Refills are written to last until your next booked visit, plus a week. If you have no visit booked, your clinician may send a one-time 30-day supply, and you will need a visit before any further refill.
Forms and letters
Send forms and letter requests — work, school, disability or leave — through the patient site. Most are completed at a visit, so your clinician may ask you to book one to go over it with you.
Refunds and billing disputes
Payments for visits that took place are not refundable. If you were charged in error or charged twice, contact billing@psyonhealth.com. We will review the charge and refund any error to your original payment method. Please contact us before disputing a charge with your card issuer.
